Light Resonances. For the former black laboratory of the DIAL she has designed a light choreography that becomes visible through a fine mist inside the room. With the interplay of three theater spotlights and two mirrors walk-in light sculptures are being formed. Just as the light fog, the visitors, which move inside the room, become part of the light images, because depending on the position inside the room the light structure is changing. Opened in 1989 on a former industrial site, the EGC is one of the most important technology centers in NRW. Inside the EGC the former black lab of the German Institute for Applied Lighting Technology is (DIAL) is located. It is a completely light-tight room which was set up for the measurement of photometric data. What remains is a rotating mirror goniometer, which was used to measure the light distribution curves, light output and luminous flux of light sources.
